[Surprise, surprise, surprise - people join a church whose pastor is known for his abusive ways (in this case, they even moved from Indiana to join the church) and then they find out that the pastor is still abusive. Church members who find themselves in an abusive church situation need to leave and don't look back. In the case of a well-known megachurch like Global Vision, they should be able to Google it, find out that the church has a bad reputation, and then stay away].
 
Greg Locke and his followers are a cult! He IS manipulative, hateful, EVIL man. If he were to tell several of his followers to jump off the overpass on I-40 they would most likely do it. Mr Locke and GVBC have given Christianity a bad name and reputation in Middle Tennessee and across the nation as well.

This doesn't surprise me at all. I was attacked by Mr. Locke several times online because I called out several things I had heard from friends and former churchmates in other churches who had gone to Locke's church when it was still Global Vision BAPTIST Church. I contacted him when I learned of the death of his son from a drug overdose and gave him our condolences. I know that a death can be a hard thing, especially of a child, and I can be kind to him in that respect. I don't wish that kind of thing on anyone. He was gracious at that point. Did it make me want to interact with him again? No, not at all. But I can pray for him and his wife and hope that they will turn back to GOD, and not themselves. I do believe that a lot of what is happening to him is correction by the Lord. It's up to him how he responds to that correction. But it does seem that he will continue on the path that he's on, and this is reflected in the last few sentences of the piece posted above.
