Is HAC suffering from the same affliction that is causing the decline in higher education?

Poor return on one's money.

Is College even worth it?

"One reason for the flight, Vedder and Strehle argue, is that the costs of higher education keep rising while the returns for a college diploma are getting worse. Tuitions and fees rose by 74 percent, adjusted for inflation, from 2000 to 2016, while the earnings differential between high-school and college graduates fell 10 percent."

Don't know why people keep saying HAC and these Bible colleges are the only ones in decline, all colleges in general have been declining. It costs too much

HAC had their first increase in enrollment in nearly 15 years last Fall.  So far, there are 2x as many applicants accepted for this Fall as last Fall.

While I do not doubt for a moment that you are reporting the truth, does it not become a lie to represent the overall health of an organization based on anecdotal evidence?

This is how one spins truth into a lie.

The overwhelming evidence belies the truth of a thin vignette, a slow death not a resurrection is instead indicated by the vast flood of negative evidence.

Did you real the article?

Historically as the economy and job market improve, college enrollment declines.
This trend is always more pronounced at the community college level.

The current job market is a healthy as its been in decades, with just US unemployment rate the lowest since 2000 (4.3%) with most of them not looking for jobs.

Actually, one should find out as to why there is a decline in college enrollment overall, particularly community colleges.
Acceptance rates in America's top schools still under 10%
In many cases it's even harder to get into the best schools.

Company's can't get the help they need because no one goes to trade school.
