Anyone else notice the way they spelled "Saviour"?

At least they've got that right.  Any other way is blasphemy.
In American English, savior is the preferred spelling of the noun referring to (1) a person who rescues another from danger, or (2) Jesus. All other main varieties of English use saviour.

I knew I'd get a "bite".

The FFF never fails!
Only pink tea and lemonade com - promisers use "Savior."

Hey!  We serve a seven-letter SAVIOUR!!!!
( I actually heard that once from someone.  Has a nice ring to it, don't you agree?  Someone ought to write a song! :)

I assume that most of this is just mocking; making a big deal out of UK English and American English spelling is just silly.

;D
Besides, sotera (NT Greek for Savior) is six letters, so the American way is more Biblical.
;D ;D ;D ;D

But how does the Greek contribute to the song lyrics we were writing?

It was commenced a page or two ago about Saviour being the inspired spelling, and without the U it being uninspired.
