Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago.
Acts 3:19-21

If heaven must receive Jesus until the time all things are restored (second coming), does that preclude a pre-trib/mid-trib/post-trib rapture? Wouldn't he have to leave heaven according to the rapture doctrine?

Don't forget the Groom aspect.
He went to build our house, after the Espousal, and when it is ready, He is coming to get his Bride and take her home....
But the Bible is clear, there is more than one trip:

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Notice "times" in the common English Bible.

The Translators came about that reading, honestly:

That passage in 1350:

Acts 3:20
that whanne the tymes of refresching schulen come from the siyt of the Lord, and he schal sende thilke Jhesu Crist,

Even the Douay Rheims has it plural:
Acts 3:20
That when the times of refreshment shall come from the presence of the Lord, and he shall send him who hath been preached unto you, Jesus Christ,

The NIV, ESV (which you quoted), agree with the English Bible, in this passage, as well.

Are there multiple times when all things will be restored?

Good question. This is one subject that nearly got me kicked out of MBBC back in the early 1980s. Pre, Mid, or post trib...that was DEFINITELY a "no-no" to study...Guess they didn't want people to discover the Bible might give people more than their one viewpoint on the subject. LOL
