I am now officially admitting to everyone that since JonC thinks that I lied against him when I accused Him of holding to God just excusing our sins, that I am asking Him to forgive me for stating that against him on our many discussions regarding the Psa atonement views here on the Baptist Board.
Also, anything else that I misunderstood JonC to be posting here and lied against Him, confessing that I was in the wrong and am seeking to clear the air so to speak now between us now."

I think you should have told him to take a long walk off a short bridge, but to each his own!
 
Personally, I've had told him that he wasn't the arbiter of Christian orthodoxy, then cordially invited him to pound sand.

I walked from another major forum for much the same reason. A clown there called me a pedophile. I called him a liar. The powers that be were more upset with the latter than the former, and suspended me. I didn't go back afterward. I'd rather be kicked off a forum than sell out.

Just think that the Lord is currently using me and few other Calvinist Baptist still posting there to be able to refute his bad theology, lest others get enticed to follow his lead and ditch Psa

I debated this, an came to for now a conviction that the Lord would want me to sta there and try to confront his bad theology, so to try to keep others from being enticed to follow his lead and abandon Psa

But this is unbiblical (it is a heresy).

Men do not perish because their actions were not punished beforehand. And punishing their sins on another would not reconcile them to God.

We sin because we fall short of the glory of God. Sins are products (or fruits) of natural man (a mind set on the flesh). Galatians 5 tells us this.

This 'Christus Victor' motif is familiar to me, but I never understand how it is a replacement for penal substitution. Of course Christ is victorious over Satan, death, and Hell. But that's not an alternative to penal substitution, it's just a related fact of His death and resurrection, but it doesn't serve the role of Christ accomplishing Salvation for His flock.

I hold to the Psa view of the atonement, while JonC does Jesus is victor, but that view to me does not solve what happened to my deserved wrath of God stored up towards me?
