How's the smoke in your area?

Charlotte just issued a Code Red for air quality. Wasn't sure how far up north it goes though. We can see clouds of smoke from the top of our grain elevator.

We can see residue of the fires early in the am, but nothing like Charlotte.

Smoggy drive home from work yesterday. My daughter's soccer game was cancelled due to air quality issues.

I live 8 miles from South Mountain state park. They have about 50 percent of it contained.

My son said that as he was leaving Knoxville Wed. there was a major haze hanging over the city. Other son coming north from Rome, GA said major smoke over and around Lookout Mtn.

Charlotte is better involving the smoke but we are in a drought. Though a drought is good for the business I work in, we are starting to see the local reservoir drying up quite a bit.

Praying for some rain here in the SE to help with both the fire and drought.
