My disagreement is with American tax dollars going to support a foreign country that purposely bombs neighborhoods with innocent women and children, to say the least. The IDF has killed people that were going to food banks. Our tax dollars pay for this stuff. It’s wrong!

Israel has free healthcare, free college, abortion on demand why are we giving them money?

I was listening to a podcast yesterday and Joe Kent was being interviewed. The person interviewing him asked? Are you worried about Iran getting a nuclear weapon? He said, no. The guy asked why? He said, because they’d never use it. The guy then asked, how do you know that? Joe Kent said, because it would be voluntary destruction. America and other countries would literally destroy the entire population of Iran and Iran knows this.

I’ve explained my position many times in detail.

I never said there were authors I believe. I said, there are authors on both sides that say 6 million and other authors that say it was much less. Therefore, it’s up to you to choose who you believe.

My view is, how can you know if you have scholars on both sides saying different numbers. I should’ve lead with this instead of saying it wasn’t 6 million.

But like I’ve said many times. I’m at work take a glance and post without much thought.

Dude, you can’t even remember what you said a few minutes ago. I’m trying not to bust your chops but you’re making it difficult.

But my overall question to you still stands, why do you pick the sources that you do to believe whatever is the holocaust figure that you have yet to name?

My obvious point is that you have a bias. You appear to start with a conclusion and look for evidence to support it.

For the love of the patience of Job, and for the last time, what are the specific two authors you are talking about? Is there a link to their writing? I’ve read the whole thread over twice and you haven’t linked to these authors or their persuasive arguments.

And what was it specifically in their arguments that persuaded you of the correct number of Jews murdered during World War II by the Nazis?

Have you read their original source writings? Or are you reading what others have said (summarizing and paraphrasing) about their conclusions?

And again, what is it about their claims that you find persuasive (whatever the total deaths you believe happened)?

No it’s my conclusion. I read all 4 books probably 15 years ago. I already told you my conclusion. All 4 books make a good argument.

I’m not asking you what your final conclusion is, I already know that you are some version of a holocaust skeptic. I’m asking you what specifically persuaded you to that conclusion? What claims were established and what evidence did they provide you that you find credible that leads you to believe whatever the number is of Jews that were killed?
