What a grand hoax! Tacky and unflattering!

Too bad these portraits are going to hang in the White House. They look more appropriate for the White House bowling alley.

Anyone think these atrocities were commissioned as a way to get under Trump?s skin?

Social injustice painter, Amy Sherald, is also known for painting black people with a decapitated white person.

Yeah, we know Republicans would never use any racist photos.

Oh, and don't forget this beauty from the Bob Jones art gallery on their campus!

Oh... the picture of John the Baptist's head? Are you rejecting the imagery found in the Gospels?

That's not a racist, social "justice" work.

Please don't interrupt Smellin's straw grasping with facts...

That's a depiction of a biblical event, you ignorant muppet. Not a racist fantasy.

Violence is violence and anti-God, biblical or not.

Of course it is racist. Why is John the Baptist white? Apparently it isn't as "biblical" as you want it to be.

Hmmm...

Well then... what do you think of the Obama's using a pathetically racist social "justice" warrior who advocates violence against white people?

I find it appalling... but not surprising.

That's not what I said, liar.

You said it was a "biblical event". I said it wasn't biblically accurate because it came from a racist culture, whether the artist was knowing or not.

The paintings are stupid! Ugly and will look awful in the White House.

I bet they will be redone.

You said it was a "biblical event".

Indeed it is: the beheading of John the Baptist.

You are complaining about the appearance, and dishonestly conflating it with the event.

So I guess art is OK showing women being raped because it was depicted in Judges 21 and in Numbers 31 and in...

After all, "it's biblical!"

Indeed it is. Rape of Tamar, by Eustache Le Sueur

I'm sure you're just going to whine that she's portrayed as white, though, so whatever. Not enough brown people beheaded and raped for your liking, Smellin?

I think you have the facts wrong here. Amy Sherald painted Michelle's portrait. Kehinde Wiley painted the former President's portrait. He has posted two paintings with black women decapitating white people. The majority of Wiley's work that is available online is not as violent as the two decapitation paintings. Both beheading pieces are titled "Judith beheading Holofernes", referencing a story in the Book of Judith which involves a beautiful woman who seduces an invading general before he is able to destroy their land, gets him drunk and then decapitates him.

He has surpassed Carter yet again....

It is not the way I would want my portrait done but since he was elected and served he gets the choice. A bigger issue for today maybe why the WH lied about when they knew about Porter beating his wives.
