While looking thru the HAC Bookstore I asked the clerk where they kept the Binaca. They do not carry Binaca anymore and the clerk did not know what Binaca was.

Sounds like they do know about Binaca but are keeping it as a Baptistic (as opposed to a Masonic) secret!

Of course we don't sell alcoholic beverages such as  Binaca.
They used to swig that stuff down even while preaching against social drinking.

How the mighty have fallen...

...but, more importantly, did you drop off a copy of my new book for the manager?  :D

We knew that stinkin (I love that word) place was going liberal!!  The very thought of not being able to go into Peddler's Way and purchase the "Nectar of the Gods" makes my skin crawl!!!!

Nicely done, Tom!  Make a quick reference to the post and promote your book selling numbers.  I applaud you!

I was working with a young guy last year who never heard of, get this, Back to the Future.

I'd like to fall out my chair.

I'm hoping you removed your glove and smacked the lad across the face with it.

Which is why I broke fellowship with them years ago.

We took shots before church.  I guess that is social drinking.  Sure made church more fun.

Do they still censor the USA Today's?

They used to take black marker and cover up any immodesty :)

Once in 8th grade Biology class, some one passed me a King sized bottle, with the dare to chugg it.

I did, of course, and after a few minutes moved on.

Later on, I asked Mr. Vogel if maybe there was a gas leak, or broken bottle of caustic chems somewhere, as I was feeling strangely dizzy.

I'm sure I was entertaining that day.

Can I buy an ESV study bible there?  Hmmm..... They probably don't carry ESV's or Tom's book. Must be a type of conspiracy.

Does the bookstore buy back used class notes?  I've got some from Combs, Schaap, Weaver and a few others.

How much of Jack Hyles's materials are still at the bookstore? Have they removed any of Jack Hyles more controversial books and sermons?

I'm getting off the subject by returning to the subject, but...

As a student, I asked why "Prayer, Asking and Receiving," by John R. Rice, was not in the bookstore. I never got an answer, and I do not believe that they ever stocked it.

Should have prayed about it.
