There's a street in Hammond named Hyles Ave? I never knew this.

Is church property located there?

No, It's just south of the church though in an apartment complex. When it was built, was a gated complex with security. Now the gates keep the residents contained to protect the public.

I have a reason for the original question, but can't say. So if you're joking, ok, ha ha. But is there really something wrong with the area?

Yes, at the time it was a very nice safe area, now it is a dangerous ghetto.
