I believe in doctrine taught by Christ in the book of Mathew less a few interjections to eat meat and the gospel of the holy twelve. I believe we become one of His sons through obedience to the truth and to righteousness.
When do you become sons in this process? How much obedience does it take? What kind of obedience is it?
A better question for you would be "Lord, how many sins can I commit and still be one of your followers?"
That's a non-answer to a very serious question. If your theology tells you that obedience is required for salvation then how much? What kind? How will I ever know if I've reached the subjective obedience plateau?
