I personally find that it is quite humorous that WH monitors this sight. Nice to know you take time out of doing "the Lord's work" to keep up on "bad press."

Sigh. I did go to WH for high school and OBC for college. Putting all my blame on them!!!

I was a math major there anyway lol. At least I had an excellent math teacher!!

It seems like we have a veteran here. Are you the same one they paid to keep tabs on the old forum?

No. My point was it hardly takes any effort to make an account. It's not like I had to climb K2 to post a comment.

That shows he is short sighted. Forget the point being made focus on the spelling.

Site not sight.

You go through all the trouble and time to get an account and your first post is to correct the use of sight vs site.

umm OK??

***In recent months there have been numerous allegations of sexual misconduct by a pastor towards numerous women.

***One of the accusers wrote about it to a degree on her FB page for all to see.

***A dozen or more other ladies have come forward to the staff and deacons of the said pastors church with their claims.

***Said pastor was confronted by some of his staff men about the allegations who asked for him to step down as pastor of the church. He refused to step own and fired one of the men on the spot and told the others to drop the issue.

***He denied he did anything that would require him to step down as the pastor of the church.

***The congregation became aware of the issue and it is estimated that over half of them left the church throughout these events.

***The said pastor called in a pastor from out of state to preach a "the preacher did nothing to be removed form his position/don't touch God's anointed" message and afterwards the accused preacher apologized for what he did.

***Approximately 80% of the staff of the church/college/Christian school have resigned and left the church.

***After all of that, word is now coming out (allegedly from authority at said church) of what they claim the pastor did.

Here is the claim: A married woman (and only 1 woman not several) who was very depressed came to him for counseling. He felt bad for the woman and thus told her that her hair looks good and that she is beautiful .  And that is all that happened.

I find it extremely hard to believe.

Just to set the record straight. She was divorced and was not depressed in any way, shape, or form. She was told by the Pastor and Joe Finn before even attending the college that in order for her to come (because of her past) that she would not be allowed to date and that she would have to meet with the pastor for counseling once a week for the first year that she was there.  Not once did she ever request to talk to him or get counseling from him. In fact. Even in the "Counseling sessions" that happened 2-3 times a DAY...NOT WEEK... (and no that is not exaggeration) she never brought up any problems she was having. She didn't need help from him with anything. She even told him that at one point.  There was ONE instance when she had a bad day and he saw her crying. She said she missed her husband and that was it. Everything else was completely initiated by the pastor.

Sincerely,
