Do I distrust government to the point that I would essentially accuse them of posting fake laws to their official Web site just to fool foreign supporters? Again, no.
There's healthy skepticism of authority, and there's reactionary moonbattery.
Hard to quantify, so let's just call it 80%. Most governmental functions aren't worth lying about.
Also depends on what you mean by "trust." If by "trust" you mean I believe they're always telling the truth, then that trust is somewhat less than 100%. If by "trust" you mean I believe the government to be reliable or dependable, then that trust is quite a bit lower. I believe they usually have the best interests of the citizens at heart. How they protect those interests is frequently misguided or impractical.
