Or even consider using it occasionally or on a regular basis?
That's assuming you're not already using it illegally.

I would never go back to recreational use, but I don't have a problem with a believer using it for lets say, dealing with chemo. ( I know a brother using it for that very matter)
Like everything else, God created it and called it good....

Unless my body/brain chemistry has changed since college, there is no such thing as recreational use for me. I tried it several times in college and it had no effect on me at all. Maybe I'm just naturally stoned and can't tell when it kicks in.![]()

Why would it be sinful?
ALAYMAN said:I know you said it had no effect on you, but the intended effect for the overwhelmingly vast majority of uses is intoxication. That's a good enough reason, but I also think that it possesses the power to make a person subject/slave to it, much like cigarettes.

This helps explain a lot of your posts.
In answer to the OP, no, I wouldn't because I believe recreational pot would be sinful.
ALAYMAN said:Nope, too hypothetical for me. I know what it does, like it too much, and personally need to stay away from it.

In the event that the THC content was low, there was a guarantee of not getting high, and other adverse health effects (munchies, not good for a fat guy), then hypothetically, I suppose. But the truth is, the concept of "relaxing" as I envision you've defined it, would come by a whole lot of activities that were more innocuous before I ever considered pot. Inhaling its harshness ain't relaxing, for one.
