If Trump is the Republican candidate............

I bet Cruz will outpace Trump, eventually.

It's unfortunate that he (nor Rubio) is not qualified to run for the office of president.

Trump or Hillary. Scariest election choice ever?

If Trump were president there would be a record set for words being "bleeped" from his speeches.

If Trump is elected, I will cheer.  He's not my favorite candidate, and there's a lot I don't like or trust about him.  But I will cheer, nevertheless.

Because VP  Biden chose not to run.

i've heard many many ppl say they do not want him for president, my question is this, why? Why, would he be a terrible president?

IMHO I would not vote for Trump because I believe his less than truthful statements on immigration are divisive and play to fear rather than reality. I also do not believe that he will be capable of getting anything done. When you own a company people do what you tell them to do because you are the boss. Politics is different because to be successful you need to be persuasive and willing to compromise. The two most effective presidents of my lifetime have been Reagan and Clinton. Two very different men but both understood the importance of persuasion and compromise. Both also had been governors which is IMHO the best training ground for effective presidents. I consider myself a political moderate but would vote for Hillary if the choice is Trump or Hillary.

Trump is no socialist....and if you want 4 more years with Hillary our country is gone.

Not sure why people don't like Trump but that's America

Why people don't like Trump? You mean other than the fact that he's an untrustworthy narsasistical egomaniac who acts like a xenophobic warmonger? What's not to love?

Any of the Republican candidates over Hillary and yes that includes Trump though he is down the list of the Republicans I would choose

I would say you are so-long-gone that your thinking has also gone-so-long.
But if you were closer........

If it came down to those two, I would have to vote third party because I could not vote for either.

If it came down to Trump or Sanders, I would vote for Sanders (if the election were to take place tomorrow).

No, I could not cast a vote for Trump.  If he's the nominee against Hillary, I would only vote if it looked like he had a chance of winning - in which case, I'd vote against him.  Reason: I believe Hillary would (like her husband) work hard to leave behind a good presidential legacy.  I think she'll want to be able to claim some great bi-partisan accomplishments which will mean  some Bill-like "triangulation" - and I support that.

My opinion of Trump is that he is in this for his own good over the good of the party or the country.  I don't think he's qualified to be a Commander in Chief, and his abrasive, arrogant attitude could very well endanger troops already in harm's way.  I also don't think he's a Republican - much less a conservative - at heart, but is just playing the part for the power & ego boost.

I'm still hoping none of us have to make the choice between Trump & Hillary.  Lose/Lose.

You are out in left field with no glove.

You're entitled to think I'm wrong, but you shouldn't try to imply I'm uninformed.    :p

You mean President "I-never-had-sex-with-that-woman" impeached Bill Clinton?  In todays America that's a badge of honor.
