Iran, the next war.

If they go according to form, if Trump supports the war, they will be against it.
Opposition to Trump seems to be their entire strategy.

I don5 think most Americans will want/support an extended war…especially if it involves our troops actively involved. I don’t see that happening in Iran…but stranger things have happened.
@Tarheel Baptist - is your entire strategy to be anti-Trump?!? 🤔🤪

If even a Christian Zionist like Seth Dillon of Babylon Bee is now poking fun at Trump's grandiose victory claims, we may be in more trouble than we realize!

"The wins just keep on coming, according to President Donald Trump, who bragged to the media on Friday that oil was never worth this much under former President Joe Biden. . . . Despite Trump's victory lap, polling numbers showed that the American people remain unsatisfied with the cost of oil. In fact, there appears to be a direct correlation between Trump's falling approval numbers and the surge in gas prices. . . . When asked what Trump thought about how people are reacting, he dismissed it as Trump Derangement Syndrome. 'I'm the most pro-business president ever. Oil companies love me,' he said. 'Maybe people who don't like it should build their own oil derricks. They'd make a fortune.'"

The U.S. military conflict with Iran is quietly draining the American labor market, with Goldman Sachs estimating that the oil price shock triggered by the war will suppress payroll growth by roughly 10,000 jobs per month through the end of the year — a toll that will be felt most acutely in restaurants, hotels, and retail stores across the country.

My goodness…what a 180 you’ve made. Wasn’t it just a couple weeks ago that you and Ms. Barks-a-Lot were pummeling anyone for posting something negative about Trump?
If you would like to audit my Trump posts you’ll find I’ve never been a Trump apologist.

My argument with you was more about you than Trump.

It's a shame that the price of oil is the catalyst of opposition instead of the injustice of this action.

As someone who was/is not a true proponent of this war, how do you see it as unjust?

Does Iran occupy the moral high ground? Do they have no innocent blood on their hands? If they are just, how exactly do you come to that conclusion?

Snowflake - calm down. I won’t have you melting on my watch.

Now, I took a little peek at your posts, and my, isn’t there a treasure trove. There’s a lot of material there for those interested in finger-in-the-wind style stuff. ☝️

Now, what is this argument you said we had? I don’t recall any such event.

In the past month, I have noted the statements of support for this war from various prominent Christian leaders like John Hagee, the roly-poly Holy Roller from San Antonio, who says, "Prophetically, we’re right on cue. . . . God Almighty is brought onto the battlefield and the enemies of Zion and the enemies of the United States can be destroyed before our eyes. Let God arise and let his enemies be scattered."

Then there is Pete Hegseth who has prayed for "overwhelming violence in the name of Jesus Christ." We are killing in the name of Jesus and to fulfill prophecy and all that good stuff, but what do we do with this passage?

" . . . And they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.

"And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.

"And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?

"But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

"For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them."
- Luke 9:52-26

It's unjust because 1) Iran posed no imminent threat to the U.S. 2)Their phantom nukes were obliterated last July. 3) It's illegal. 4) It's really about the expansion of Occupied Palestine, a.k.a., Israel™.

Israel's Channel 12 news reports that the Israeli Defense Forces will not participate in any potential U.S. ground invasion of Iran. While the two nations have coordinated thousands of airstrikes during
"Operation Roaring Lion," Jerusalem reportedly intends to keep its ground troops focused on securing its own borders and the intensifying conflict in southern Lebanon.

Iraq all over again.

Florida gubernatorial candidate James Fishback calling out politicians who accept AIPAC funding, arguing it raises concerns about where their priorities lie.

Speaking at a rally, Fishback framed the issue around accountability and influence, positioning himself as pushing a more America-first approach in the Republican primary.

Supporters say it's a needed conversation about foreign lobbying and political transparency, while critics argue the rhetoric can be controversial, keeping the debate over influence and loyalty front and center.

A new NBC News poll shows Americans' views on Israel have shifted. 40% of registered voters say they sympathize more with Palestinians, while 39% say Israelis.

In 2013, 45% sided with Israelis and only 13% with Palestinians. The change is strongest among Democrats and young voters and is now influencing Democratic primaries and debates over U.S. policy toward Israel.

Tucker Carlson has sparked a massive debate by claiming Israel is using its final window of opportunity to involve the U.S. in a regional war. He argues that shifting demographics mean future generations of Americans will likely reject the current level of military and political support.

I don’t disagree with that logic. Israel is smart to take advantage of Trump’s presidency.
