like i said before... no one in the military.... especially in the marines.... (first to go - last to know).... gets to choose which war they will fight... . or even where in the world they will be deployed if an active war is taking place..... . those in an amphibious assault unit on a ship that has been stationed off shore of iran since the war started have a pretty good idea.... .. but all their families can do at this point is pray and trust God to keep their family members safe.... ... things every military family does from the moment their loved ones join up...whether or not an active war is being fought....

if you don;t want your son to be in marines that;s fine... . if he doesn;t want to be a marine that;s fine too - even better..... .. but to say he could have been a marine..... and saying the government destroyed his dreams by getting the u.s. involved in the "wrong war" ... is in my opinion peeing on the graves of the sons and daughters of every military family who has to go to a national cemetary to visit them.. .... and who had no say in which war their loved ones were going fight in... or where they would be sent after joining up.....

you acted as if you and your son were being forced to make some huge sacrifice..... as if a change of career could even be compared to loss of life in a war.... ... ... but then i guess it shouldn;t surprise me... one of your supporters in this thread tried to make a comparison between serving in the military and a life ending organ donation.... ... ... all either of you did was to tell me you know nothing about the military..... never served yourself... and don;t have any close relationship with someone else who did..... all you have is criticisms and condemnations...

... being in the military is about serving your country... it;s not about serving yourself..... .. i know i said that before too but apparently you didn;t get it..... if you or your son can;t look at it and accept it that way - then he should stay out of it entirely .... and both of you should pray nothing happens that requires a draft someday.... .. at least until the war you approve of comes along....

i don;t have that kind of phone.... can;t have that kind of phone as it would never survive a week in my hands or in my pocket .... ... .. and after spending the last few years with a fortis milspec that a tank could run over and not break - but does not get internet - i decided i don;t want any other kind.... waiting to get home to see what kind of nonesense is happening online is actually kinda nice when you get use to it.... .... . i did nothing but get into trouble with my old phones any way.... ... this causes fewer headaches for everybody..... ....

I don’t actually care what kind of phone you have. I was just informing you how it’s possible to be gainfully employed and still respond to a message while at work or anywhere else for that matter. However, unlike you, you’ll notice most of my messages are just a sentence or two. Not that I actually should feel the need to explain my posting activity and employment status to someone who doesn’t have a job to begin with.

and for your information my dad trains marines... . i;ve grown up with marines..... and i spent many nights for many years while he was out on a medivac helicopter out at sea.. responding to a ship fire or emergency offshore... or off on some other dangerous call wondering if he was going to make it home ok.... .... and members of our family are serving in the marines right now.. waiting to go ashore in iran right now. .. so don;t give me your macho man.. "worried father/family member" crap....... ...

no... and if you had ever pulled your head out of your butt long enough to pay attention on the fff you would know why........ ... all the internal parts required of a female to bear children were ripped out of me when i was 9 years old due to sexual abuse.... ..i have many other physical and also mental issues that caused me to be declared disabled....

@Bruh - for what it’s worth, you should ask questions like the following before heeding advice from anyone spouting off: Have you served in the military? Do you know what it’s like to have a kid potentially going to war? Do you even have kids? Being an authority on a subject requires some personal experience with the subject matter, not second or third-hand knowledge of the experience.

members of my family living right here in this house can answer yes to all those questions and more..... .. so go sit on your fence post and wiggle tough guy..... take bruh with you... he will need something else to do while you are occupied....

do you want an answer to your questions or are you just gonna jump to your own conclusions?............ yes... i have a job.... 2 of them in fact.. part time and on call..... . . i also earn money teaching archery and making traditional hunting arrows.......... maybe that;s not good enough for you and personally i don;t care... ... i also don;t care that you only post a few words at a time.... maybe you think slow and can;t work any faster... .... i tend to think very fast and talk fast too.. .. faster than i can type in fact....... it;s not my fault you can;t keep up.. ... must be a regional thing.........
