I am fascinated by the chasm between my Christian friends on this question.

You obviously hang out with the wrong crowd then... Either that or you don't bother to listen to them.

I’ve been in a fundamentalist church for 25 years and I’ve never heard that question posed, nor discussed. What does the question mean?

Apparently nobody but me has noticed the America First stumping going on here.

Nick Fuentes wannabes don’t count. Or are you saying that that America first language that’s coming from Bruh is the same mentality of people here on the FFF and in circles you run in?

Pick an issue and you will see it if you are willing to look for it. Ukraine. Venezuela. Israel. Immigration. Canada. Tariffs.

Obviously the country needs to consider its self interest in decision making. The problem is when issues are exaggerated for the purpose of getting the people to go along with questionable decisions.

Nigeria is a good recent example. The killing has been going on for decades but all of the sudden it's an issue of national security. Because America first.

Much of the Cold War was justified in the same manner.

Let’s take just one example you gave, Nigeria. How is that “America first”? And why is that policy, from your perspective, misguidedly divisive among Christians?

I don't know why it's America first or how it magically became an issue of national security. That's my point.

As to the Christian response it seems to me that there was little interest or even knowledge about it until the rage machine kicked into gear. I find it all very disappointing.
