Seems to be prevalent anywhere where authority figures are considered beyond reproach. Besides the perpetrator, the leader/pastor does not want to see his ministry blemished or friend go to prison so it ends up being two or more in leadership roles convincing the victim that they are a bad person if they report the crime. In the case of IFB the bus ministry also helps provide off campus access to children. Of course these things happen a lot of places but seem especially prevalent at places where the leaders are held up as superior to the common class such as LDS/Catholic/IFB. I do think that some parts of the IFB are making strides toward not being such predator friendly places.
