Humorous point about having someone edit your sermons:

In the morning Sunday School around 1973, Jack Hyles ripped the daylights out of Billy Graham for saying that it is okay to drink if you don't get drunk. Dr. Graham had also made it clear that he was an abstainer for his testimony's sake.

Around 1978, I was present when he preached in Levittown, Pennsylvania. Brother Hyles stated from the pulpit that there isn't a man alive who can accuse him of criticizing another preacher without being a liar.

FTR: I seem to remember hearing JH say many times that he would rather vote for a president who has done something and built something than for one who hasn't done anything but has been a career politician.

And since we are on this, let me get this off of my chest. I am not a Trump fan by any stretch. But, I am weary of people talking about his bankruptcies. If you have enough ideas and try enough things you will eventually probably fail.
