That article was Knox's first claim to fame. If I seem dismissive, it's because Knox made his name in KJV-only circles with blatant intellectual dishonesty.
Yes, he was using the initial at the time. I can't find it now--it was probably hosted on Geocities or some other site that's long gone--but I parodied the article (employing the same intellectual dishonesty on the KJV) under the name "James X. Plotz."
Over the last 20 years or so, I've seen many many fights among various IFBs about those pastors.
Since I have almost everything he has written but haven't seen anything controversial; and since this is or used to be the infamous FFF , I was just curious if anyone was familiar with his work.
