Protestia does mention the scandals and jail time:

And let's not forget Jimbo's miracle cure for the Coronavirus:

"On a February 2020 episode of his show, Bakker and a guest discussed a product, 'Silver Solution,' that they claimed could eliminate the coronavirus from the body within hours -– well before vaccines or any approved treatments.

"The Missouri attorney general sued Bakker and his production company for misrepresenting 'Silver Solution' as a coronavirus cure.

“'Anyone who has bought "Silver Solution" from "The Jim Bakker Show" should know that it cannot cure or treat coronavirus,' the Missouri Attorney General’s office announced in a statement."

Yeah, I believe I made mention of this at the time. This was about the time that Kenneth Copeland was declaring Coronavirus "over." They should've all gotten together at a prophecy conference or whatever and gotten their stories coordinated.

Wasn't Bakker's "cure" just another colloidal silver concoction? I wonder how many people he turned into Smurfs.

Refresh my memory, What did he do time for?

Fraud and conspiracy. The PTL Club sold expensive "lifetime memberships" that included an annual stay in a luxury hotel at Heritage USA. But they had nowhere near the capacity for the tens of thousands of memberships they sold. Bakker pocketed several million dollars.

Wow. I forgot all that. Its blurry but a picture is coming of Jim Bakker on a water slide as a promo for Heritage USA. 😄😄

You got the picture right, but not the televangelist. It was Jerry Falwell who took the infamous plunge:

Falwell had taken over PTL Ministries from Bakker to keep it afloat while Bakker lay low after the Jessica Hahn sex scandal. But then Falwell had access to their books and found out how deeply in debt the ministry was. (It was this internal audit that led to the discovery of Bakker's fraud.) The water-slide plunge was a fundraising incentive as he tried to keep the ministry afloat, but in the end they had to declare bankruptcy, and ultimately Falwell & co. washed their hands of the whole deal.
