Are you saying it is okay to be rude toward President Obama?

Did you read that in my reply? He is not the king...simple fact. I " give honor to whom honor is due"-Romans 13:7. Obama is not beyond be questioned, challenged or held to the Constitution. The Executive Branch is to be no more powerful than the Legislative Branch or the Judicial Branch...three separated but equal branches of our government. The Constitution is the final authority not a single person or a group of persons.
1 Peter 2:17 simply says, "Show proper respect to everyone,"
It most likely ends with "king" because at the time their leader was killing Christians - and the point was reinforced to respect EVERYONE including this murderer of Christians.

i think it;s funny how people who disagree with any particular president and usually have no problem saying so... suddenly pull the "we should respect the king" card whenever said president does something they agree with..... even though that something is against the will of an overwhelming majority....
but whether you agree with the issue he is pushing at the moment or not...... what this president has done in the last few days is unconstitutional........ and while it may definitely warrant our prayers...... it does not deserve our respect.....
a president is elected by the people to serve the people....... but a president that takes draconian measures to circumvent the senate and congress... members of government who are also duly elected by the people....... then that president has attempted to set himself up as a dictator... or crown himself king of you will.... and he has moved against the people he was sworn to serve.......... and in the case of this president he has done it for no other reason than to leave himself a bigger legacy and a greater footnote in the history books before he leaves office next year...........
i respect the office of the president...... as should every american...... but in the last few days the american who has publicly shown the most disrespect for the office of president is the president himself......

I can respect the office of the president. After all, he's usually on vacation or golfing, so he rarely spends any time in it.
Q: Is it true that George W. Bush took more vacation days than Barack Obama?
A: Yes. Before his two-week trip to Martha?s Vineyard in August, Obama?s count was 125 full or partial days and Bush?s total at the same point in his presidency was 407.
FULL ANSWER
Our inbox is chock full of questions about who took more vacation days, Obama or Bush. (The short answer: Bush. The long answer: There?s no such thing as a true non-working vacation for the president.)

Presidential Vacations
There are relevant and legitimate things for which to criticize Obama but vacation days is not one of them.

Obama is on vacation even when he's not on vacation. He skips intelligence briefings, and cuts short his obligations to run off to a fundraiser, party, or golf at every opportunity, even immediately after a tragedy.
