There seems to be contradicting opinions.

In his autobiography, Bunyan quotes a phrase at a time, all of which line up with the text of the AV.
He doesnt appear to be making a conscious effort to publish Scripture, but rather to relay how the particular passage fits into his own thoughts.

Most of his quotes, then, are less than 10 words, and are found as part of a greater sentence.

Generally, Bunyan quotes the AV, which had become the preeminent Bible by the time he began his ministry. However, it is obvious that he knows the Geneva Bible well also.
