Well, more like exalting Hyles and FBCH.  The cross was not actually lifted up that much.

Weird.  Did not HAC believe that the Spirit indwelt believers?

Why would any believer pray this prayer?

Fill us with thy power divine.

Another error. We have all the power we are going to get, in the Person of the Holy Spirit.  It is a matter of yielding to His leading, not of getting more of Him.

There is no prayer for power in the New Testament.  The early disciples prayed that they may be bold in telling others, but no prayers for power recorded.
