...Sabercats?

In case you missed the news, MBU unveiled their new mascot this month trading in the battered (and some would say less PC) Crusader for a bright, shiny, new Sabercat (which looks a great deal like Diego from Pixar's Ice Age but with some extra fur).

Well, at least they're not the Goslings (for those of you familiar with Watertown, WI sports teams).  :-\

Too bad, I hate it when schools drop mascots because of PC. When that happens I quit following the school.

Considering that opting for "Crusaders" was a poor choice for Maranatha from day one, I think ANY change is a good thing.
