I may not like the way it was stated but actually his point is valid. Steve Harvey would not have influence in the black community or be an expert but it gives Trump the ability to give the perception he is concerned about the black community.

That is not the translation. Just being a black entertainer does not give you credibility.  I do not take any entertainer seriously on political topics just based on the fact they are entertainers. They have the right to use their platform to try to influence but not sure how many people actually listen to them.

Obama was a popular president. Agreed that Hillary was a poor candidate. Trump won by appealing to those who felt left behind. He had the benefit of strategic mistakes by Hillary.
