Mamdani to Trump: I Have Four Words for You

So, is it a bellwether, or a flyover one off?

Looks like Trump has four words for Mamdani: You're on your own.

Gonna be an amusing four years in NYC, with Mayor Dinkins redidivus.

As you know, politics is a pendulum, and I’ve maintained since Trump’s second election that Republicans will get dog walked in the upcoming elections. So many people have maintained that he is going to try to set JD up on a comfy cushion for winning the presidency, but I just don’t think that’s how Trump’s brain works. He’s the type of guy who believes that JD will need to get his elbows dirty and do his own work. Sink or swim.
 
I will add, if Mamdani turns NYC into a broke dumpster fire, then it could be the best thing to happen for Republicans. I guess time will tell….

bellwether.... .....the people my sister works for believed new york city was headed this direction years ago...... that;s why they permanantly moved all their operations offices out of new york entirely when the george floyd riots were going on.... .. she came back here to work from her old office ...(with massive and impressive upgrades).... and has been here ever since.... others in management that work for them went to other places and in other countries....

new technology made it possible for many different types of businesses to spread their operations around the world instead of working from a central hub even then... and the tech is much better now.... .. so new york city might have just destroyed itself in ways not even realized yet... because truth is the big business world doesn;t really need it anymore.... ....

so unless mamcommie builds a cold war east germany style wall to keep them in - the rich people he plans to tax will flee to other places out of his reach......... what will his free busses and government run grocery stores look like then?....... :sneaky:

I'm glad to report that in Lewiston, a slop-liberal got his backside handed to him.

Across the river where Mrs. Abcaines and I live, a levy that would have added about $125/year, on top of the doubling our property taxes took, got shot down as well.

Harris won Va and NJ so I’d say it was just business as usual in those 2 states.

The shock is the commie and Va. attorney general who offered death threats on his opponents. That is sad to me.

New York and California it’s against the law to ask for an I.D when voting.

yep.... . but try to buy a beer or a pack of cigarettes..... or simply try to buy an over the counter decongestant to treat a stuffy nose and see what happens....... .....and those rules apply all over the country... ..i have never once seen a democrat complain about having to show an ID in those situations........ in fact.... if i remember right.... the law requiring an ID be shown to by a decongestant was first introduced and passed in california......

I disagree, somewhat.

If republicans continue to put other countries interests and corporate interests before American interests it won’t be good for republican politicians.

People are tired of voting for the lesser of two evils.
 
How can anyone have supreme loyalty to America with dual citizenship like

so their answer is to go full evil and let the worst happen?.... 🤨 .... .i don;t think that;s the cause of what we see happening.... .. i think it;s a matter of americans having a very short memory and even shorter attention span.........

case and point.... in 2001 an islamic extremist named osama attacks an american city in a way not seen since world war 2... murders thousands..... america goes to go war over it.... ... .. 7 years later americans elect an islamic sympathizer named obama as president...... he brings in an iranian islamic extemist as his chief advisor... someone who openly advocated sharia law... .. and nobody says a word about it.. .........until.... a famous comedian pokes fun of said islamic advisor and that comedian is immediately cancelled by the newly invented cancel culture and her career is destroyed........

there are many other examples.... i could go on all day but you already commented on the excessive length of my posts... so..... there it is........
