Marty Braemer looking to pastor again. Ugh!

The librarian loving former pastor Marty Braemer is sending out resumes to be a Senior Pastor again.  After less then 5 years removed, here he comes again.  A friend forwarded a copy he sent out to me. 

Funny how adultery is left off of it.  And causing problems for the pastor who had to clean up his mess isn't mentioned as a special skill.

Whoever had 4 years before he gets back into pastoring again, won the betting pool.  How far until Schapp is back?
 
Well, if the pulpit search committees are doing their due diligence and googling for information, then at least this thread is second on the list (after Marty's own site).
 
Not surprising...Marty's favorite preacher has always been Marty!
 
Wow! I am so...not shocked. No one bothers to look into a prospective preacher's background. Old Paths!! They didn't do that in the '50s. NEVER CHANGE BLESS GAWD!
 
I was off the FFF so long I didn't even know about Marty's situation. Sad to read about it all in one sitting.

Sadder still to see an all too frequent reoccurring theme among those who come from HAC and drink the Jack Hyles' flavor-aide.

Not condemning the whole bunch due to the bad apples but I am saying the percentage is WAY too high for such a small sample.

I would say call all the churches he is sending resumes to and warn them, but then he might call YOUR pastor! He has done that!! It actually makes him look like more of an idiot though!!

The problem is not that his background won't be checked. The church that calls Marty will probably do so knowing his background but will consider him 'restored'.

I would submit that is THE problem.
The nobody bothers to do background checks is, as someone said earlier, 'dumb'.  :)
 
What's even worse is the sermon he sent of himself preaching.  On it he bad mouths Kevin Keever.  "Saying that pastor after me tried to undo all that I did".  Never mentions he was fired for adultery.  And then acts like he was trying to help Keever but Keever wouldn't listen.  Back stabbing liar.

Needless to say he was pitched by the church.
