You've got that right! I'm thankful my wife and I got out of there just 9 months after we moved to Granite Falls, MN. Though I loved the place, I hated the views of the people there. It seemed like the snow had frozen their brains and ability to think for themselves. I have cousins up near Duluth and other cousins throughout the state.I know. My state is embarrassing.
I went to the Open Door Baptist Church. The pastor at that time was my best friend from Maranatha, Pastor Larry Simon. I worked for the bakery in Granite, as did my wife. We loved the church, and we loved the people of Granite. But, there were some who were just "brain-dead." To be honest, I wouldn't mind retiring there except for the snow and cold. I couldn't take it anymore. "Uncle Arthir" Itis is not a kind person.I had 2 friends who pastored First Baptist in Granite Falls.
