We hosted a concert by Rend a few years ago....on their first visit here, I think.
Great people!

They provided music at my church this week for a ladies meeting.

They are not my favorite musicians....not really my style, but they did a great job here and they were solid Christians, as far as I could tell.

actually i was trying to find a picture of cat stevens... a musician turned muslim... wearing a bow tie... ...
but the closest thing i could find was steven the cat... drinking a martini and wearing a bow tie........ oh well..... 

Dennis Miller recently went on a rant about Islam, sort of.  He basically said he doesn't know much about it or care.  But he added, "I don't like how you treat your women; I don't like how you f-d up Cat Stevens..."
