When churches go "woke" and abandon the core doctrines upon which Christ has founded his church, perhaps it is a good thing that they do close!Lifeway Research finds church closures eclipse openings in the U.S.
In 2024, Lifeway Research estimates 3,800 new Protestant churches were started in the U.S., while 4,000 churches were closed.
I just skimmed the article but do they break down the demographics of the churches that are in decline? It is usually the liberal, apostate congregations and denominations and any study (if actually performed) would reflect this.
Churches that are not The Church need to either go away or call themselves something else aside from a church.

In 2024, Lifeway Research estimates 3,800 new Protestant churches were started in the U.S., while 4,000 churches were closed.
I would be interested in seeing a breakdown of this, particularly by denomination.
On a Facebook group I follow, someone posted a set of stats showing the decline of about half a dozen denominations since the middle of the 20th century. All of them were mainline, liberal Protestant denominations: the Episcopals, UCC, United Methodist, and so forth. It would have been nice to see why the decline happened (was the congregation going elsewhere, or just aging out and not being replaced?), as well as a comparison to more conservative and evangelical denominations.

I know I’ll get attacked for saying this but I read the other day that by 2050 white people in America will be the minority. Which tells me that we are being flooded by other countries that are not Christian. I’m sure there are other factors but I’m sure this is one of them.

Well, I currently have no black friends. I work with a lot of black people. Some good some bad just like any race.
I have no Indian friends nor do I know any. I have no Asian friends nor do I know any. I have no Somalia friends nor do I know any. I have no Jewish friends nor do I know any. I have no Pakistani friends nor do I know any.
One of my kids are into Asians. Maybe he’ll produce a Bruce Lee.

If I may offer a recent and real life anecdote which illustrates your main point.
10 months ago my wife and I moved to a new community and began the arduous task of finding a decent church with which to fellowship and serve.
We discovered a well established Baptist church ( 137 years!!! and still open for business). I approached the Interim pastor and asked about membership and a ministry I might begin serving. He suggested I teach the men's Bible Study. I humbly accepted and decided on verse by verse in Romans. But, I was cautioned not to be "dogmatic" since "God blesses loving relationships ".
Later: he began teaching a Sunday School lesson using a book he wrote about Geology and Genesis. Apparently, God needed millions of years to get around to creating the "symbolic" Adam and Eve.
There were other red flags like female pastors and deacons "in the Bible". We left. The decay is real.

The people who do come to our country need to become American. People coming from other countries need to learn English and take on the American values like capitalism, free speech, work hard don’t leach onto our tax dollars by way of welfare.
