I'm not a Calvinist, and not an Arminian either. I'm Anglican and Lutheran, and those are different.

I don't believe God has placed any limits on his foreknowledge... but I don't think "foreknowledge" is quite the right word. God is not limited by time the way we are. I don't think He foresees us doing anything. I think He just sees it as it happens, without any time limits. So if I murder somebody 20 years in the future, God doesn't say "Izzy is going to murder that guy in 2034", but instead "Izzy murdered that guy in 2034" because to Him it's all real time, no past or future.

That doesn't in any way deny our free will, or create an unchangeable future. But whatever it is that we eventually end up doing, God knows it.
Eternity, where God dwells, is ,by  definition,  outside of Time.
I marvel at how people try to limit God to fit their theology.
You are right, God is Alpha and Omega....presently seeing the beginning and the end.

Exactly. God has no beginning or end. We try and fit him inside a box to better understand him - instead perhaps we should, "stand amazed in the presence" .... I still can't wrap my mind around His love and grace for me.

To study and learn isn't a bad thing. Just, grace and humility should come along with our "knowledge" ...

Great questions! What exactly is God's timeline anyway? Does he even have one?

The doctrines of grace were true before Calvin.
Again, I would not want to have a God who was not sovereign.

But being the god of free willer's is probably exciting....anticipating what his creation will do tomorrow.

Let me make it a little easier:

Question: Does God know the future?
A: All evangelicals agree that he does!

Do we agree up to this point?

I thought you were wasting your time? Tell me you're not wasting your time and I'll answer your question.

LOL...
This whole forum is a waste of my time but I still come here.

Maybe... but you should define the Calvinist view of "foreknowledge". I'm tired of dealing with people that say I don't know anything about Calvinism. You people seem like you're always doing a "bait and switch". If you define "foreknowledge". I will do the same.

The words "know" and "foreknow" commonly mean "choose" or "set favor upon" or "acknowledge." it is those whom he chose or set his favor upon.

Balls in your court.

That definition contains a huge theological bias. The greek word is the same for prognósis. Simply to know something before it happens.

I would expect someone who had debated "hundreds of Calvinists" to not make such a silly mistake.  Maybe you don't know everything.

I believe CU counts like Blob Gray TX.  You know, he has preeeeched 50,000 sermons and led a million people to Christ. They are all lies, but sound good to those low-information christians.
