NPR firmly established as progressive

If we are going to be "in the world but not of the world" as every good baptist preacher has said somewhere along the way, then we need to know what the world is thinking. If nothing else NPR is a good source for accurate research on how other people process information and events.

That's why you read Playboy and Hustler, right?  Research.

It's all for the articles.

Wait...did you just compare a news source to pornography?

As to the above, Rush has never hung up or been rude to callers that might disagree with him. Neither does Hannity to the best of my knowledge. Again, people criticize and have no clue what they are criticizing.

I have heard both of them do it. Hannity in the last few weeks. They are both open to talking right over top of people as well on whatever point is being made. And to be fair, the blowhards on the left (Diane Rehm is the queen bee) do it as well.

You must listen to Rush a lot more than I do.  I've never heard him do it.

And you definitely listen to Hannity more than I do, since I don't listen to him at all.

I listen to Rush's podcast almost every day, while I exercise, and I have never heard him disrespect a caller.
A few times, he has asked that the phone lines be reserved for callers who disagree with him on a certain subject.
I listen to Hannity infrequently, he gets on my nerves, but I have not heard him be disrespectful to a caller either.
