Nuclear War - Duck & Cover (and don’t forget to protect your head with newspaper:)

Not sure I want to be around after a nuclear event with Russia.

Radiation poising is no joke, just Google effects of Chernobyl. Not a way I want to die.

My plan is to do what I was taught in school. get under my 24" X 14" elementary school desk, turn away from the windows, close my eyes and cover my ears. These well rehearsed safety procedures should be all we need to survive a 1 megaton nuclear warhead.
 
Yup. Those who are killed by a thermonuclear blast are the lucky ones.
 
In the event there’s a nuclear blast, best advice is run as fast as you can towards the explosion. BTW, Russia losing the war in Ukraine is not an option, in the opinion of many experts. That’s all I’ve got to say about that.

Are you saying that Russia must lose, or that they must win? Just asking for clarification.

The real crime in this conflict is the Biden corruption sucking the US into and escalating this mess. Putin will ally with China to tip the scales in his favor.

World war is imminent.

But know this . . . Christ holds the keys of hell and of death. Not one bullet flies without His say so.

I’m saying that historically, no nuclear-powered nation has ever lost a war in which its survival was at stake.

China is showing much more world leadership than Biden, who is continually egging on the conflict.

Russia could still survive even if it lost the war. I don't know why people become so melodramatic and have the ideology that Russia will disappear if it loses...nuclear or not. Of course, it will always be in the back of their leaders minds to use the bomb, but, do we seriously think that after the use of it in Japan in the 1940s that anyone seriously wants to start a thermonuclear war?

When things get desperate, they will do what they can to demoralize their enemies. Nothing is off the table.

Yes, and as you have already pointed out, do we really want people escalating things like Biden, and continuing to poke the bear just to see what he might actually do and how far he will go?

It’s also said that if Putin goes out of power, the couple of Russian guys lined up as his likely successors are probably worse than him. Who knows if that’s true or false, but I wouldn’t be surprised if true.
