LOL. We've been making this joke for years, and they're only mad about it now?

I have been to Regina a couple of times. I haven't the slightest clue what appeal this town may have for tourists! It is a podunk industrial town in the middle of nowhere Saskatchewan where if your dog runs away, you can see it running for two days!

But yeah, the first time I heard the name "Regina Saskatchewan," my humor was a little less than sanctified shall we say?

We almost went there a few years back with a church group....to tell you the truth, I don't know why they were going there! LOL

I got in trouble with a girlfriend who was a woman's libber, who was offended when I told her about my road trip through "Ree-Jye-Nah," Saskatchewan. She thought I was talking dirty.

How about the one about the Aussie who asked some Canadian backpackers in the outback where were they from, and they answered "Saskatoon Saskatchewan." The Aussie's mate asked him, "Where did they say they are from?" and he answered, "I don't know, they don't speak English."

I wonder if Regina is located near Big Beaver, Saskatchewan?

It's more than 100 miles to Big Beaver. Moose Jaw and Indian Head are a lot closer to Regina, on the TCH (that's Trans Canada Highway). It's a great road. Since I went through there, the entire Saskatchewan section has been "twinned" - that's Canadian talk for a highway converted from two lanes to 4-lane divided.

WE worked with a guy from Thailand named Phuk Yu! Had to be careful how we said that at work! LOL
