You may have missed or passed over the next word in the sentenceT-Bone said:ItinerantPreacher said:You realize you asked that in on an anti-KJV only forum right?Citadel of Truth said:If you were the pastor of a church, would you forbid pictures, posters, or banners to be displayed in your church that have scripture verses from a version other than the KJV? What about bulletin covers with a verse from a non-KJV version?
I ask because my sister-in-law was told that she could not pass out a coloring sheet to her first grade class at VBS last week because the picture she found had a verse not from the KJV.
An anti-KJV forum? Would you be so kind to name one regular here on this forum who is anti-KJV?

I think we got away from your Sister In Law a while ago and onto a hypothetical situation, which happens alot here. Much of it was me. I apologize.Citadel of Truth said:Biker said:...so you can justify harassing your VBS Teacher...
Just to be clear, my sister-in-law did not feel the least bit "harassed." In fact, she is the one who brought it to the attention of the VBS director. She knew the church's KJV position and so she checked before giving out this coloring page with an NIV verse on it.
I, personally, do not hold to their KJV only position, but I certainly do not fault my sister-in-law for submitting to the church's guidelines.
My OP was a question about allowing non-KJV scripture on your printed material, not about a perceived injustice to my sister-in-law.
Which I appreciate Citadel, and I appreciate your sil's respect, and yeah, when I respond to rabbit trails that come up, I am guilty of hi-jacking a thread.Citadel of Truth said:Biker said:...so you can justify harassing your VBS Teacher...
