Only Trump supporters are upset at Kaepernick.

Kaepernick is guaranteed $12 million this year. If he?s cut and picked up by another team, San Francisco might only be on the hook for the difference between that $12 million and what the new team pays him. But for Kaepernick, getting cut and sitting out the season means money for nothing ? and he?ll get to spend the entire campaign lambasting his team for persecuting him for political reasons. Moreover, he?ll be a social-justice poster child and perhaps the politically correct NFL league office will exhort some team to give him another chance next year lest the league look like reactionaries.
