Try going vegetarian.  Incorporate one day a week to a 24 hour fast. Add in a small increase in your activity and you will feel better. Enjoy reduced joint pain and better sleep and other claims I can't prove but am convinced of. Things like lower blood pressure and lower cholesterol. Cows are healthy eating the foods they were designed for, and we are too.

I see you've abandoned any pretense of arguing in favour of vegetarianism biblically. Good thing, since your arguments were unconvincing and based on your own selective acceptance or rejection of the Bible's authority.

other claims I can't prove but am convinced of.

That about says it all.

Yes, I'm just as good at convincing others as you are at proving that God intended man to have a perfect copy of His words. I'm okay with admiting that I have no proof of my claims can you say the same?

I'm a second-hand vegetarian. Cows eat grass, I eat cows. Works for me.

I am almost 60...6'4"...195lbs...great heart...great energy...33 waist...and I not only love my beef and chicken, but I love it even more when I shoot an elk and eat that great meat!  But thank you.

Are you on medications? It's rare for someone your age to be that fit and not still at least have high cholesterol and high blood pressure. God did not design man to eat meat. Read Genesis chapter one.

Nope...doing great thank you...and I have read all the Scripture, it does not forbid the eating of meat, as a matter of fact in Genesis 9:3 the Lord told Noah to eat meat as well as the herb.  But thanks for your concern.  And I don't mind being called unusual, it always messes up people's preconceived notions.

Just because you are above average and doing well is no basis to claim your diet works as good as it should. God designed man to eat fruit vegetables and herbs. That's it. Man destruction of the truth does not change the result for the masses. It will be heart disease and an early death for the majority. Just as God did not make it okay for cows to now eat meat, He did not make it okay for man either.

Again you need to read the whole of Scripture...just start with Genesis 9:3.  You are applying your view upon the Scripture...you don't speak for God, the Scripture does.

Your opinion that scripture is perfect is not a defensible argument. The fact remains that our physiology was not designed for animal flesh. God never intended us to mutilate His creation and use our bodies as animal graveyards. Those who eat animal flesh will suffer the consequences in health and relationship to God.

Oh so the Scripture is valid on the points you agree with, but not on others.  You need to quit using Genesis 1 as a pretext to your vegan claims.  You are your own final authority, and you cannot know anything about Jesus except by the Scriptures, so you really need to quit talking from your ignorance.

But God did make it OK for man to eat meat, even if you choose to disobey God by lying and denying it: "Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything" (Gen. 9:3).

Correct, I'm only throwing out the error.  I like the taste of meat. I'd like to eat bacon and pepperoni pizza but it's not up to me.

No, but I'd sure appreciate getting my HAC tuition back.

Hmmmm, must be God is then okay with obesity, cancer, arthritis, and a poor quality of life.  Sounds like denial Scott.
But God did make it OK for man to eat meat, even if you choose to disobey God by lying and denying it: "Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything" (Gen. 9:3).

Yes, that is me in the picture...18 months and 45 pounds ago.

I'm wearing the helmet because the charity ride I was participating in had a "no helmet, no ride" policy and since I had raised close to $300.00, I figured I could wear a helmet for a few hours.

Its a proven fact that eating the diet we were created for will not only keep us thin, it will reverse many other illness deemed incurable by the medical community. Good job on the weight loss. I too enjoy bike riding.

I'm flattered that you went to all the trouble to make a tag line just for me but to make it honest it should really read "Hooper the "perfect bible" denier: 0.

Which makes your selective quotations of Scripture absurd. If it is not perfect, then don?t use any of it.

Do you have rabbit teeth?

I have no problem biting and salivating over a bone-in ribeye. Medium-rare... closer to rare the better!
