That's rather presumptuous, isn't it?  How do you know it didn't work out for one of them?

Several counties in TN have their court records on line. If you knew which one he lived in you might be able to read the complaint and the marital dissolution agreement. I personally deal enough with that crap on a daily basis.

The article says that he's in Mt. Juliet which is Wilson Co. That's just across the lake from me. In fact I've got a custody case going on in Juvenile Ct. over there. I'll be over there week after next and will take  look at the pleadings.

He is the Pastor of Global Vision Bible Church in the Nashville, TN area. He used to be an associate pastor of the Franklin Road Baptist church in Murfreesboro, TN until around 2000...then he caused a minor church split. I live in the Murfreesboro, TN area, and several of OUR members went to help MR. Locke start what was then the Global Vision Baptist Church...
From what I know of the situation, Mr. Locke and his wife didn't get along very well, him being abusive mentally and physically towards her and claiming she had mental problems. After several interactions by phone, internet, etc, with him, I can see why she would. He's very abusive towards people who question him. He put his wife on a bus to GA...allegedly a fat camp...and his wife stayed there and divorced him. Several of his texts were revealed, and he cussed the poor woman out and was verbally abusive in these texts. It was a huge scandal in this area...and I stopped referring to him as "Pastor" Locke because of the situation, his unwillingness to face it head-on and answer people's questions without threatening them or abusing them verbally. I don't recommend him or HIS church, as the people have a cult-like atmosphere...,much like Dr. Jack Hyles had in Hammond. It's just a bad situation IMHO.

I've had many people ask me about Mr. Locke (sorry, but I refuse to refer to him as 'Pastor' Locke) and I refer them to another church in the area. My wife works up in Mount Juliet, TN, and we've had several friends and acquaintances in Mr. Locke's church in the past....We heard nothing good, and none of those people stayed with him or HIS church...(HIS church because he doesn't seem to allow God to be in control of it....JMHO).
