Is this the same Larry Brown of 'jumping/preaching on top of the pulpit fame?
He's being followed by CT Townsend of the Burlington Revival 'fame'.

We are grateful for the work God began at Victory Baptist Church in 1975 through our founder and pastor Dr. R. Larry Brown. We have been blessed to grow from 9 people in his living room in North Augusta to reaching thousands of people across the globe over the last 44 years. On Sunday morning, we voted in CT Townsend to be our new Pastor. CT was mentored by Dr. Brown in evangelism, his wife Becky Hurte Townsend grew up in Victory and now they?ve been chosen to lead Victory to continued success in reaching up to God and reaching out to people.

You better believe it's famous IFB Comedian/Evangelist Larry Brown. He'll smash televisions, bash CCM, bash charismatics, bash the Seeker Sensitive crowd, TBN/PTL Club, Country-Western Music etc.. But Dr. Brown was a staple in IFB's not just for comedy, but for how many people he led to Christ. He was a disciple of Jack Hyles and to this day he still praises the great Jack Hyles. Hyles even wanted his preacher boys to be more like "Dr. Brown and Get Loud and Not Compromise".
 
Based on the pictures on the www.evangelistlarrybrown.com website, it appears that the famous TV-smashing preacher Larry Brown is still in the ministry, sent by Marion Avenue Baptist Church in Washington, Iowa.  (I remember seeing a video of Larry Brown smashing a TV in a church where his antics were broadcast live on closed-circuit TV screen, for the benefit of those in the cheap seats.  So how was that use of closed-circuit TV not a sin?)

The retiring pastor in North Augusta, South Carolina appears to be a different Larry Brown.

It is a different Larry Brown.

I've been to both churches, and heard both speak.

At one point, family of mine, BJU grads, attended this (SC Larry) church.
