Pastor's School was a huge event when I was at HAC.  It took a lot of voluntary help to make things operate smoothly.  Many college students were involved.  So tell us, what duties did you have during Pastor's School?

*Please, brethren, one duty per post.  Get them numbers!!

One year I was in the Pastor's School parade.  Dennis Usher, Owen Ivey, and I were three soldiers carrying the American flag.  It was cold and snowing.

One year HBS's held a parade and I held a letter that said we love you.

What a little girly man.  :)

Since most of Hyles' personal bodyguards had other jobs during the week, because my dad was one of the regulars, I filled in on the team for the week each year.

Now I know why there was a bullet proof shield in the balcony.  :)

Yeah. I didn't carry. :) (My dad did though...)

Some pimply-faced kid handed me a 100% Support for Hyles" button when I walked into the auditorium at Pastors School years ago. I assumed he was a HAC-student. Still got the button somewhere.

You may be of no value, but the button is!!!  :)

I put together hundreds of the red and white boxes for the lunches.

And did you put anything unique in any of those boxes?

What year were the buttons handed out?

It's what she took out that makes things suspicious.

An incredible coincidence occurred the year after Teri left college. I can remember many longtime regular attendees remarking that the pickles looked longer that year.

I wonder how much I could get for it on ebay.  ;)

I put nothing in the boxes.

It was my job to make them and during the packing, I was given the honor of wrapping pickle spears in plastic wrap.

Someone else packed them.

To be honest, a few years ago on the other FFF, it hit me what I had done.

While I laugh and joke about it, down deep I am ashamed.

I know pastors from all over the country traveled miles to attend PS.  Sacrifices were made to send those men to learn how to build a church and fellowship with others.

And the punk loud mouthed kid from NC ate part of their lunch.  :(

Who knows what damage you have done to fundamentalism.

Two things:

1)  Please allow me to have one serious post without you poking fun, jerk.
2)  The pickles were of age.  I caused no damage.
