I'm actually balanced between authoritarian and libertarian.  But I'm mostly right on the economic scale.

I've done this test many times, but the result is always more or less the same:

Economic Left/Right: -0.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.00

I kind of flew through it, but FWIW

Economic Left/Right: -5.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.51

Economic Left/Right: 1.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.77

I've taken this test (or ones like it) before, but I'm not always in the bottom right.  Being this close to the middle means that the wording of a particular question (or the one or two that I waver on from time to time) would have an effect on the quadrant I'm in.

-1.50, -2.87 respectively.

I guess Christianity keeps us somewhat liberal.

My Native Side flared up a few times.

As usual, the questioning is far too limited.  At least one should have the option to cry "faulty premise" on a particular question, and pass on it.

No kidding! I was looking for "Neutral" or "n/a" on quite a few.

Yeah, a few of my "disagrees" were rebellious against the question.

Agreed, a lot of faulty premises.

I've taken this one maybe a dozen or so times. I don't remember my exact numbers, but I always come out about the same: libertarian right quadrant, very close to Milton Friedman. No surprise at all. I voted for Gary Johnson last time, and will be rooting for Rand Paul in '16.

Arguably the mark of a decent survey writer, faulty premises aside. Way back in one of my classes, in public relations and marketing, we were taught to give all questions like this (that admit a spectrum of answers) an even number of options. Otherwise, lazy survey-takers will just check all the questions right down the middle to save time. This way, they are at least compelled to choose one side or the other.

Economic Left/Right: -5.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.00

I'm right where Gandhi is on the scale . . . so I'm pretty awesome.

I don't want my loin cloth to get tight on me though.
