Pope Francis Goes Public With Support Of RFID Chip Implantation

Your source seems pretty spurious bb

As if bb knows what spurious means.  ;)

I heard that Rome is the reason that you can't find any 22 ammo. Apparently all of the world's stock is being stored in the basement of St.Peter's Basilica.

If that's the case or if the govenrment (Homeland Security) is buying it, why are'nt Winchester & Remington tooling up to make more. If the auto & aircraft industries can ramp up production within a year of a recession ending, why does it take the ammo people a decade to increase production. They should hire some of the boys from Seattle or Detroit to show them how to expand production.

If I was in the ammo business I would be working 24/7 to fill the demand. I might even raise my prices a bit. My guess is the current market would pay 20% to 30% more than market prices.

When I read the title of thread... I thought the Pope may have finally implemented some type of "inventory control".... :)

Even assuming the OP's story to be true, thanks to Bibleburner's gullible foolishness, once again potential serious issues about personal privacy and information security have been buried under paranoid screeching about some new technology being THE MARK OF THE BEAST! YAAAAAAAHHHHH! BUY DEHYDRATED FOOD! LIVE IN A BUNKER! GUNS GUNS GUNS! SATAN!

I swear, these Dispen-sensationalists are like Pavlov's dogs. Wave a bar code in front of them, and watch them flip out.

Pavlov is sitting in the bar after a long day. Just as he is served his first beverage the phone rings.

Pavlov: "oh crap"

Bartender: "what's wrong?"

Pavlov: "I forgot to feed the dog"

Obviously, Jesus is not the only way to salivation, since Pavlov achieved salivation by ringing a bell.

Boy, that convinces me

Please tell me you're kidding. It's really embarrassing and discouraging seeing Christians who are so gullible as to believe a completely UNSUBSTANTIATED (legalese for bullcrap) quote.

If the Pope did indeed make that statement does it make it untrue?  The internet can be used for good or evil.  What makes the RFID chip Satanic?

When they start slandering Fred Phelps' good name then you know they are suspect.

I was kind of thinking in that direction when I saw that they touted Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin as "America's #1 Independent News Team."

I really can't say that I'm surprised Bibleburner missed it, though, as he seems to be missing a few things (primarily in the marble department).

Hey, BB, did you know that "gullible" isn't in the dictionary?

I would generally be leary of having any mark engraved or implanted in my right hand or forehead, because of the ambiguity in Revelation about what exactly the mark of the beast is. So that's just a personal preference to be on the safe side. You, the pope, and whoever else are more than welcome to use whatever technology you want to help make your life easier. Heck, every American in the nation could be using some sort of mark to buy groceries with and I could care less, so long as I'm not required to have one as well. And RFID chips, from what I understand, aren't even implants anyways.

I don't mean to make light of a serious subject but I believe too many Christians are living in fear of something they have no control over.  It was pointed out that the main difference in those who call themselves "dispensationalists" and those who don't comes down to whether they believe God is through with Israel as a nation or not.

The more I read of Robert Van Kampen and those who espouse the "pre-wrath" rapture the more I am convinced they are wrong but I am not the final authority and respect their position.  They talk about dispensationalists cutting the Bible up to make it fit what they want to believe but I have never heard anything more extreme than trying to give Satan credit for what God takes credit for.  The seal and trumpet judgments originate from the throne of God (Rev 6:1; 8:2) and when you get to Revelation 15 and the bowl judgements we are told plainly that with them "the wrath of God is finished." God takes credit for all the judgements that take place from Revelation 4 through 19.  The apostle Paul talks about this time when God will pour out His "tribulation" and "vengeance" on all those who don't know God and have rejected the gospel (2 Thess 1:6-10).  That isn't the Church.

It is impossible for anyone to receive "the mark of the Beast" at this time because the Antichrist and false prophet are not in power, there is no temple in Jerusalem, and no seven year peace treaty has been signed by Israel.  When the world looks at Christians cringing in fear of coming events they have no control over do you think the world wants that kind of Christianity?  I believe the return of Christ is "imminent" and it is a "blessed hope" filled with comfort.  So even if the Pope or anyone else endorses the RFID chip as something good who cares?

I will say once again.  The "mark of the beast" is not the unpardonable sin and those who actually do take it will have an opportunity to repent (turn their allegiance from the Beast to Christ), believe the gospel and be saved (Rev 14:6,7).  This is the time known as "Jacob's Trouble" (Jeremiah 30:7).

Well Bible Believer... there are a few options on the "table" for ya:

1) ignore this thread, hoping it will be buried soon because you were duped by a parody website

2) admit you were duped by a parody site

I admit it, I was indeed duped by the parody website. A couple of other brothers I know were also tricked by it.  A friend of mine posted the link to the same article on another website; so I clicked on the link and read it, and it seemed to be legitimate. But I was simply wrong. From now on, I'll be sure to double check and verifiy the sources of any link and article which I share.

3) double-down on this by telling us that the parody site could still be accurate

Well in regards to the article, it is accurate in that that story they posted is actually telling the truth but what they brought it out and spun it as satire and as a fictional tale. In other words, have you ever heard of news agencies making spoofs on reality?

I say that the story concerning the Vatican and the RFID tracking tags was telling the truth because back in 2013 under Benedict, the Vatican was already requiring the RFID tracker chips for staff. Here is the video which affirms this:

Vatican Unveils RFID Tracker Chips For Staff

Published on Dec 2, 2012
The Vatican is issuing RFID tracking tags for people close to the Pope after the latest scandal involving leaked documents.

So, BibleBeliever... being that you call yourself a dispensationalist... why would news like this even bother you or even be necessary to post on a Christian forum?

None of us, since we are believers, won't be here to accept the mark according to the dispensationalist time-line.

Well the news does not necessarily bother me, It just shows me how close the Rapture is already.

Everything for the New World Order and One World Government and Mark of the Beast System is all coming into place.

And yes I agree, none of us will be here for the time of Jacob's trouble. Praise God for that.

I simply shared this information to show the brethren on here how close we are to the Lord's soon and glorious return. If anything, it should make the believer excited, knowing that the return of his Lord is very imminent.
