I am posting a prayer request here because I know that some of you are prayer warriors and will see it. We just found out that my younger brother, Shawn, lost his mother this morning at 10 AM in Boise. She passed away rather suddenly, and I know Shawn would appreciate any prayers we can lift up for himself, his son, daughter and their families, and his stepfather, Bud. He and Shawn's mother had just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in August. Shawn's stepfather doesn't know the Lord, and neither do his children. This might be the best time for the Lord to reach them. Thanks in advance for any prayers lifted up. Shawn lost his sister to cancer earlier this year...and according to him the highlight of his year so far is the fact that he has found out who his father was, that he had lots of brothers and sisters, and a second mom (my mother) who has adopted him as her own.
