Well it looks like the compound has been sold...Freedom Destiny has put out a brochure and a presentation that says they are moving to that property. Apparently god the father (Herman) and god the son (Greg) announced that they will abandon the current property and move to the property that they acquired on the Westside of Jacksonville...

Sounds like one of those very weak, complicated arrangements from the description in the brochure. Sad, but inevitable.

Odd that I predicted this would happen over a decade ago. When the Neals welcomed statutory rapists (the Douglass Family) and a pornography producing adulterer (David Hyles) into the "fold" and gave them protection by denouncing the warnings about them as attacks on the brethren, I knew the end was near.

Now that it is here, there is no joy, but a sort of relieved sadness.
 
Really not sad, the Neals are wicked according to Psalm 37:21. Interesting if they move over to the Immanuel property in Jacksonville since there is a current active lawsuit by the caretakers of the Immanuel property and the church against the Neals---

Wonder where they are going to meet for their current advertised conference?  Such a tragedy on SO MANY LEVELS ... Church Family ... School Family ... College Families ... so many people suffer when we sin and continue in un-repentance.  May God grant those hurt a special measure of His Grace & Love.  May God help the rest of us to Walk in the Light.

Am I the only one who thinks that they are embracing the Immanuel name to make it harder for people to find out about Greg Neal's alleged sins?

Those would be the sins for which "overwhelming evidence" was produced, according the the official investigation. The ONLY reason that prosecution did not proceed was that the statue of limitations for video voyeurism had elapsed.

Not "alleged" in my book.
 
Another forum stated that the group taking over is led by correspondence school doctors. I followed their link and it's true. They are a Pentecostal group that has run a successful coffee shop and successful home churches. I cannot find anything about whether they have bought or are renting the buildings.
 
Guy, I jumped in a minute early and saw on their budget sheet that they are renting. Then, the video you had us see showed that the property is large and in good condition. Either they have a lot of money or they got a bargain from a desperate bank.
 
First Bank listed the property initially for 5.9 million in the spring of 2012-they have come steadily down to the current 3.2 million. I'm sure they will be glad to be out of the church renting business.  Freedom Destiny is coming close to raising the final monies needed for the down payment.

But ... it is my understanding that the church voted unanimously to do just that this past Sunday evening.  Sounds like another "Voice Vote" to rubber stamp as the "Will of God" what is out of their hands.  Gross Financial Mismanagement might be an understatement.  To blame it on "God's Will" ... ???
 
What's the deal with Berean Baptist College being at Camp Tracy?
