Rabbi: Anti-Zionism is not Anti-Semitism

What if he did? Should Christians be villified for having a particular eschatological view of Israel? That's what's being done by Ekklesian here, and at the center of the spat your entering. But even worse, Ekklesian is falsely accusing Ransom of being a Zionist without any burden of proof. He's effectively bearing false witness, with zero regrets when called upon his dishonesty.
No I do not believe they should be vilified but if they believe it’s scriptural I’d only ask for a chapter and verse.

What I said was that he equated anti-Zionism with anti-semitism. And I posted his own words.

Notice how the dishonest clown never quotes my very next words: "Just let the activists speak."

The quotation was given in the context of some student group for Palestine. These organizations, in the name of "anti-Zionism," target Jewish businesses, politicians and individuals, and block Jewish students from campus.

Is every Jew who studies medicine or runs a coffee shop a Zionist? Of course not. The pro-Palestinian activists aren't checking IDs to make sure they're protesting against Zionists. They target Jews indiscriminately.

"Zionism" is to the left what "world bankers" was to the right: a euphemism to mask anti-Jewish racism. So when I said anti-Zionism is really antisemitism, in the context of "progressive" pro-Palestinian direct action, it is exactly that.

Of course the dishonest clown won't provide the context. He deals in half-truths.

So what you meant to say was their anti-Zionism was a mask for their anti-Semitism?

What it look s like you wre saying was, anti Zionism reveals itself to be antisemitism, wait and see.

Your little 'Joo' digs certainly seemed in line with that.

K. I'm sincerely sorry you weren't more clear.

I think they are conflating the Jewish people and the state of Israel. I can support the Jewish people without endorsing every action taken by the Israeli government. I don’t even support every action by the American government, even when I voted for them, but I still support the American citizens.
I totally agree with your distinction and application of your point.

I am not sure that ‘they’ don’t really hold contempt for Jewish people.
