Satanic Temple After School Satan Club

Does this mean the 3 (at least) IFBx churches in my town aren't doing their jobs, or are they doing their jobs so well that Satan is attacking our town because of it?

Good to see even the satanists are worried about childhood allergies and face coverings. I think most children who sign up for this will be disappointed. No human sacrifices no magic spells or odd chants just arts & crafts and science experiments.

Yes. Last year or the year before, our city council passed a measure declaring our town as a sanctuary city for the unborn. Ever since, the crazies have been coming out of the woodwork. The most recent election was hotly contested for the 4 open spots on city council. Fortunately, the spots were won by conservatives, but that angered the crazies even more.

Remember when "Satanists" were just atheists with extra shock value? Now their edginess apparently consists of "wear your mask" and "eat healthy snacks."
 
It's been almost 20 years now but a high school about a half an hour away from me had this sort of cultural conflict, but it was over the lgbtq stuff (before there was a btq in the alphabet soup 😁) ... Link

Yeah, the name of this club is certainly only for shock value. I don't expect that it will be at the school for very long.

Gotta say, 50-year-old me wouldn't mind borrowing 10-year-old me to attend, just to find out how far their "regardless of religious background" actually extended...

I just caught something I found amusing about these "Satanists". One of their tenants at the top of the ad is "personal sovereignty". Then it says "Please ensure your student has a face covering to attend".
