It appears that you and Twisted *may* have a burr under your collective saddles about SBC/IFB...which I do understand. As I have said to you before, I am a one who was an IFB for over. 50 years, with 30 of those years as an IFB Pastor. I am more recently, by prayer and leadership of the Holy Spirit, aligned with the SBC. And I am as straight on the actual fundamentals of the faith as you, Twisted or Don Boys.

Does the SBC have problems, ABSOLUTELY....but the fact that you and Twisted think the problems lie in the musical skit at the SBC convention or the piece offered by Pulpit and Pen, who out Cloud David Cloud, show that you really don?t know much about the SBC.

The article references the community response to the gay niteclub shooting in Orlando 2-3 years ago. I have spoken to the Pastor referenced in the hit piece, and heard him address this in public...and his stance on gays is the same as mine...and probably yours and Twisted?s.

Perhaps what they should have done is taken IFB leader Steve Anderson?s approach and gone all Westboro Baptist on them....

I agree with most of the article.  However, there is something not quite right when Christians say things like. "LGBT community".  This is, IMO, the same as giving credence to wickedness.

Is there an "adulterer community"?  "Pedophile community"?

Also, the article fails to mention that homosexuality is condemned by God and is a SIN.  Fence straddling at its finest.

Such a deceitful thread. Your first mistake is using Pulpit and Pen for a source. I know David Uth. He is a good man who is 100% against homosexuality.  But keep spending your time seeking to destroy a brother who just isnt angry all the time! Carry on!

Beth Moore actually is a point of disagreement in the SBC...more correctly she represents the issue of Complementarianism which is currently being hashed out and defined among many in the SBC.
