Does anyone practice it anymore and if so, what criteria drive it?

"I'm so separated my eyes are in different zip codes!"

Everyone practices it at some level. If the pastor at your church stood up and said Jesus was a gay trans, would you separate?
Yes. And I’d also separate if he said you shouldn’t go to the movies or women shouldn’t wear pants.

Yes.

"gay trans" seems unnecessarily wordy when one or the other covers it. 😉

Like water and oil, separation comes naturally!

There are some things in the world that are naturally repulsive to a child of God and you do not have to tell them anything. I hardly listen to the radio or watch anything from "Hellywood" these days. I don't need some "PREECHER" thumping me upside the head telling me what I need to separate myself from.

Unregenerate man is averse to the gospel message and desires to separate himself from anything having to do with a sovereign, holy, eternally existent creator God along with the undeniable fact that he will one day stand before him and give account. I just do not feel obligated to accommodate them. I identify as a CHRISTIAN not by choice but by birth. I am here, I am not going anywhere, DEAL WITH IT! I do not need to separate myself from them, they will separate themselves from me and if the Lord tarries, I am sure that they will take such separation to the logical extreme and will start to exterminate people like me.

My brother and I talked often about this. Who would be willing to turn us in for our faith? Interesting thought exercise.
